Distance education students at SAIT are entitled to all of the same library services as other students.
Registration and Privileges
You should be automatically registered with the library on the day your course starts. Your library privileges expire on the last day of your current course.
Requesting Books and Videos
Distance learners registered with the Library are eligible to borrow most library materials. DVDs available for loan exclusively to distance students are identified with the location of VIDEO-DIST.
Books and videos are sent to you by mail free of charge, including return shipping.

Reg Erhardt Library
1301 – 16th Avenue NW
You will need to know your SAIT ID# and have a library PIN to access e-books, streaming videos, online articles and other e-resources.
Visiting Us In-Person
Distance students are also welcome to visit the Library in-person to access our services, use resources or check-out materials.
Your SAIT ID Card is your library card. However, if you do not have a SAIT ID Card - as is the case for many distance students - you can still borrow materials if you know your ID# and have other proof of identity, such as a driver's license.
